ATTRACTING SKILLED MIGRANTS AND INVESTORS
Attracting skilled migrants is becoming an increasingly competitive challenge. Where to Live Guides works closely with State and Local Governments across Australia to compile detailed information about the local economies, community facilities and demographics that underpin the country's major cities. This information is in turn published within a series of high-quality guides that may b used in conjunction with existing communications and marketing collateral. It is designed to specifically address the lifestyle questions that migrants have when considering relocating, as well as showcase the unique strengths of local economics. Where to Live Guides also produce custom-branded CD Rom products for the real state, property development and Government sectors. As with the books, the CD Roms add depth to existing communications initiatives by repurposing information about Australian communities and bundling this with information that is designed to attract investment.
It's impossible to begin a search for property without first understanding where to look.
When relocating across town, inter State or from overseas, suburb names often have no meaning. It's only with local knowledge that words such as Tallai, Worongary or Mudgeeraba can be understood in context, as communities where lifestyle acreage is available. Despite this obvious fact, users of Government and classified websites are still expected to have this detailed local knowledge and be able to search suburb names rather than being assisted by overviews for a range of lifestyle options for each city.
Although there are websites that can provide buyers with statistical information, and there are real estate classified websites that offer property listings, only Where to Live Guides has in-depth suburb profiles that provide a snapshot of community dynamics, real estate trends, schooling options, local employment opportunities and amenities for hundreds of locations across the nation. Think about... when you travel, you use a Lonely Planet to help you save time and money - so of course a guide to living would be hugely beneficial when relocating!
The information contained within each edition of Where to Live Guides is now available for use by partner sites either as data feeds or as a hosted, white-label PDF offering.
